 Hi

hello, are you the same person as before? I’m too lazy to look at the site thing that tells me which blog you are. How are you? What is up? Why are you just saying greeting type words into my ask?? At least ask me something interesting… or TMI… come on.

Trying to get this smokey copper/brown eye down for Europe. Liked how it came out this time. Need to open my new mascara though.

I was so unhappy with my attempt to use browns for a smokey eye. I was in a crunch and ran out of time. My panic mode when I run out of time with eye makeup is “smudge everything together with figures!!!!” :-(

It’s a week before I go to Europe!

I’ve saved up enough to have a mini shopping spree before I go! Almost managed to get everything I planned, just had to budget out a new handmade leather tote purse and matching wallet, but I knew that was a bit excessive anyways.

I’m so proud that I’ve saved up all this money to travel and planned the whole thing for my group too!

It made me realize how much more money I need to make. Gotta use that entrepreneur part of my brain that I know I have.

Toxic people are bad, and not worth your pain.

Studies show that women apologize more than men, often for perfectly reasonable acts like, you know, taking up space.

So watch this Pantene commercial here to inspire you to stop saying sorry for no reason.

I know I do this A LOT!

The Last Japanese Mermaids

For nearly two thousand years, Japanese women living in coastal fishing villages made a remarkable livelihood hunting the ocean for oysters and abalone, a sea snail that produces pearls. They are known as Ama. The few women left still make their living by filling their lungs with air and diving for long periods of time deep into the Pacific ocean, with nothing more than a mask and flippers.

In the mid 20th century, Iwase Yoshiyuki returned to the fishing village where he grew up and photographed these women when the unusual profession was still very much alive. After graduating from law school, Yoshiyuki had been given an early Kodak camera and found himself drawn to the ancient tradition of the ama divers in his hometown. His photographs are thought to be the only comprehensive documentation of the near-extinct tradition in existence

This would of been my dream profession at age 10. It still allures me.
